The biggest gains

Four results from the eight weeks since launch.

Google Maps

Near the Peoria base, Water Fighters is the first name people see. The strength fades with distance, which is how Google Maps treats every local business, and it is why the ad and referral steps in the plan matter for the rest of the Valley.

Share of points in the top 3, by distance from Peoria

Seven Peoria-area searches, 49 points each, counting either Water Fighters listing. Strong to four miles, about half from four to ten, gone past twelve.

The website

Rebuilt from the ground up and launched August 4, then expanded in five content releases plus three advertising landing pages.

Pages live

  • 41 city and neighborhood pages, each written from verified local facts: housing eras, water systems, flood history.
  • 13 flood-cleanup pages for the largest cities, plus guides on insurance, mold, ceilings, pool leaks and fire sprinklers.
  • Every name on the service-area map now links to its own page.
  • Every page shows published and reviewed dates, and every truck in the site’s photos carries the real Water Fighters logo.
  • Three fast landing pages built for advertising, with call tracking wired in.

Google Search

Rankings held through a full site rebuild, which is when most sites lose ground. Clicks are still small: a new site usually needs three to six months to earn steady search traffic.

Where the site ranks today

Average position in Google for the week of Sept 12–18. Several of these top spots are on searches Google shows only a few times a week, and most are won by the homepage rather than the page built for the search.

Tracking that now exists

None of this was measurable in July. Each item is set up to run on a schedule.

Where we stand

✓ Working
    ◐ Building
      ○ Not there yet
      • East Valley, South Phoenix and Queen Creek: no map presence yet.
      • Call counting: we cannot yet see every call the business receives.
      • A steady, predictable flow of new leads.

      Where we need to improve

        The next 30 days

The work so far built visibility. The next month is about turning it into calls, and counting them.

        StepWhoWhy it matters
Count every callCesar + AlfredoThe phone is the scoreboard. A call log, the Peoria profile's call data and tracking on the main line tell us what is already arriving.
Review Local Services AdsAlfredoIt sits above everything else on Google. Leads, answer rate, service area and job types all need a check.
Decide on a Google Ads emergency campaignCesar + AlfredoGoogle Ads was the main lead source until this spring and stopped in June. The account is in hand; the first step is rebuilding it around emergency searches only.
Backup answering and missed-call text-backCesar + AlfredoEvery unanswered emergency call is a job that went to the next name on the list.
Add fire, sewage and building-restoration categories to both profilesAlfredoFire damage is the weakest search on the map and has no category behind it today.
Ask for a review at every finished jobCesarReviews are the strongest lever for the map, especially for the Phoenix profile.
Hand off every plumbing water call to restorationCesarThe plumbing side is already standing in the homes that need drying.
Start the listing cleanup and remove the personal numberAlfredoOne name, one address, one phone number everywhere Google looks.
Link the city and service pages to each otherAlfredoHelps the deeper pages rank on their own instead of leaning on the homepage.
Bring the dashboard back and resume weekly scansAlfredoSo progress stays visible week to week.
